Picking a design for work gear
- Left chest, hat front or beanie: look for designs around 4 in (100 mm) wide or smaller, like the White Ironworker Skull, the Ironworker Skull Variant or the Barber Pole and Tattoo Machines.
- Jacket or hoodie back: the King of Trades and the Texas Ironworker Skull are made for large hoops.
- Heavy work fabrics like canvas and duck stitch best with a sturdy stabilizer, so run a test stitch first.
Before you stitch
- You need an embroidery machine and compatible software. These are machine stitch files, not SVG cut files or hand embroidery patterns.
- Check the design size and hoop clearance on each product page against your machine before you buy.
- Run a test stitch on similar fabric with a suitable stabilizer before your finished piece.
